"The Secretary of the Army has asked me to express his deepest

regrets on the death of your son Sgt Adam J. Kohlhaas. While on

mounted patrol his vehicle hit an IED in Bayji, Iraq.

Sgt Kohlhaas was pronounced deceased by Dr (COL) Anthony Martin

at 1615, 21 April 2008.

The Secretary extends his deepest sympathy to you in your tragic loss."
